About the role

The Tax Specialist – Licensing & Permit Management will be responsible for ensuring that all regulatory permits and licenses for the company’s head office, distribution centres and retail stores are applied for, renewed and maintained in compliance with Philippine government requirements.

Key responsibilities

Apply for and renew permits and licenses with agencies such as BIR, LGU, Barangay, BFP and local health units.
File required government documents within stipulated deadlines.
Assess and process municipal tax payments on an annual and quarterly basis.
Verify completeness of permits and licenses documentation.
Coordinate with MIS and Ripple teams for POS permit applications to the BIR.
Guide the liaison assistant on errands related to licensing processes.
Assist in processing POS retirements and repairs.

Required profile

College graduate in any business discipline; accounting background is a plus.
Willingness to work onsite at the head office in Binondo, Manila.
Attention to detail and ability to meet strict filing deadlines.
