Tax Specialist – Licensing & Permit Management

About the role

The Tax Specialist will manage regulatory permits and licenses for the company’s head office, distribution centers, and retail stores. This role ensures compliance with government filing deadlines and supports smooth operations across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Apply for and renew permits and licenses with agencies such as BIR, LGU, Barangay, BFP, and local health units.
• File required government documents before stipulated deadlines.
• Assess and pay municipal taxes on an annual and quarterly basis.
• Verify completeness of permits and licenses for internal documentation.
• Coordinate POS permit applications with MIS and Ripple teams.
• Guide assistants on errands related to licensing and permit processes.
• Assist with POS system retirement and repairs.

Required profile

• College graduate in any business discipline; accounting background is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the head office in Binondo, Manila.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple regulatory requirements.
