Tax Consultant – Hybrid (Clark, Philippines)

About the role

TOA Global is looking for a strategic, client‑facing Tax Consultant to join its Australian division from Clark, Philippines. This hybrid, full‑time position bridges complex Australian tax law with practical business advisory, offering a pathway to leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns, business plans, budget submissions and finance proposals for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead client engagements from initial meetings through ongoing relationship management, identifying new opportunities.
• Act as the primary liaison with government bodies such as the ATO, ASIC and OSR.
• Conduct in‑depth research on accounting, taxation and business advisory matters.
• Manage workflow, including weekly planning, deadline setting, task delegation and progress monitoring.
• Promote a positive firm culture and mentor junior staff.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality control procedures and support special projects such as due diligence and advisory letters.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in Australian tax consulting within a public practice or corporate environment.
• Proven track record of preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Strong client‑service orientation and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
