Tax Consultant – Australian Tax Advisory (Hybrid)

About the role

TOA Global is seeking a strategic, client‑facing Tax Consultant to support its Australian division from our Clark office. This hybrid, full‑time position blends deep technical knowledge of Australian tax law with proactive business advisory, allowing you to influence client outcomes and mentor junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Australian tax returns, business plans, budget submissions and finance proposals for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead client engagements from initial meetings through ongoing relationship management, identifying new opportunities.
• Act as the primary liaison with government bodies such as the ATO, ASIC and OSR.
• Conduct research on accounting, taxation and business advisory matters to deliver actionable advice.
• Coordinate firm‑wide workflow, including planning meetings, task delegation and progress monitoring.
• Champion firm culture, quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and supervise junior accountants, providing feedback and career coaching.
• Contribute to special projects such as due diligence, advisory letters and staff training seminars.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in Australian tax consulting within a public practice or corporate environment.
• Proven track record preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Strong client‑service orientation and ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
