About the role
The Tax Compliance Specialist ensures that the organization meets all statutory tax obligations while maintaining accurate records and proactive communication with tax authorities. This role is essential for safeguarding the company’s financial integrity and compliance posture.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Taxes) accurately and on time.
- Conduct internal audits of financial records to verify compliance across departments and resolve any discrepancies.
- Deal directly with regulatory bodies during tax examinations, process business permits, and monitor real‑property taxes.
- Maintain meticulous, organized records of all tax‑related documents, payments, and correspondence to meet legal retention requirements.
- Stay updated on new tax legislation and advise internal teams on tax treatments for contracts and business transactions.
Required profile
- Experience preparing and filing various tax returns.
- Familiarity with current tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to liaise effectively with government agencies and tax authorities.
