Systems Engineer – IT Infrastructure

About the role

The IT Systems Engineer will design, administer and support a diverse enterprise infrastructure across multiple sites. Based in Cebu City, you will ensure Windows and Linux server environments are reliable, efficient and secure to enable business productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and own unresolved issues beyond the first‑line support team.
• Develop and execute technology strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Install, configure, upgrade, document and monitor hardware and software components.
• Maintain Cisco UCS infrastructure and standalone servers.
• Plan and execute server patching across locations.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
• Administer backup systems such as Cohesity, VEEAM, NetBackup or TSM.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum three years of experience supporting Windows and Linux servers.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory design, Group Policy and certificate services.
• Proficiency in DNS, DHCP and network device management.
