Supply Chain Planning Lead – Amazon/eCommerce

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Lead to drive demand planning, inventory forecasting and supply chain operations for Amazon and other eCommerce channels. The role focuses on optimizing inventory, improving forecast accuracy and coordinating product movement from manufacturers to fulfillment centers while reducing costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage demand forecasting models using historical sales, market trends and business insights.
• Optimize inventory levels to avoid stockouts, excess stock and high holding costs.
• Manage inventory across Amazon FBA, Vendor Central and other eCommerce fulfillment platforms.
• Coordinate product orders, inventory transfers and shipments from manufacturers to warehouses and fulfillment centers.
• Monitor Amazon fees and devise strategies to lower FBA storage costs and maximize reimbursements.
• Build and enhance forecasting models, dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power Query and related planning platforms.
• Analyze supply chain performance and provide data‑driven recommendations for inventory and purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align inventory planning with promotions and new product launches.
• Maintain relationships with freight carriers, overseas manufacturers and third‑party logistics providers.
• Lead process‑improvement, automation initiatives and performance reporting to boost supply chain efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Amazon demand planning, inventory optimization or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced eCommerce environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, complex formulas, Power Query).
• Familiarity with forecasting and inventory planning tools such as Flieber or Inventory Planner.
• Knowledge of Amazon FBA, Vendor Central and other eCommerce fulfillment platforms.
• Understanding of freight logistics, overseas manufacturing and 3PL operations.
