Software Engineer – Test Fixture Development

About the role

Xerox is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement application‑specific software for test fixture equipment used in qualification and production acceptance testing. The role focuses on creating reliable, high‑performance code that supports device assembly, deployment, and yield optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement, and test software for test systems and device assembly.
• Optimize production yield using electrical design techniques and analysis tools.
• Develop, test, and document software components, including operating systems, applications, and network products.
• Create and maintain test process documentation, software architecture, calibration procedures, and debugging records.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer, Electronics, Communications Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience with C# and/or Python programming.
• Experience working with electrical control systems, sensors, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Proven ability to work in a team using version control, configuration management, issue tracking, and build automation.
