Software Engineer – Internal Tools & Automation

About the role

XP Power is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop and maintain the internal tools and systems that keep our global operations running efficiently. You will work on a variety of automation applications, backend services, and user‑facing interfaces that support our power‑solution business.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal automation tools and applications using Python, Django, Flask, React, CLI tools, Electron and PyInstaller.
• Create and evolve backend databases and schemas to meet product and operational requirements.
• Build automated test and validation scripts for power‑supply and hardware products.
• Develop GUIs and dashboards for internal teams.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to roll out features and troubleshoot issues.
• Package and deploy containerised applications using Docker and manage deployment workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, write documentation, and promote best‑practice improvements.
• Produce user manuals and training materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with Python, JavaScript and HTML.
• Hands‑on experience with Flask, Django and React.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Experience with Docker is a plus.
• Understanding of communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, Ethernet, UART, Modbus is advantageous.
