Software Engineer I – Python & AI Backend

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer I to design, develop, and integrate modern backend applications and AI‑enabled solutions. The role is ideal for engineers with 1‑3 years of experience who want to deepen their expertise in Python, cloud platforms, and generative AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and handle JSON data exchanges.
• Support AI and Generative AI feature integrations via existing frameworks or cloud AI services.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment activities.
• Deploy and support applications in Azure or AWS environments.
• Use GitHub for source control, version management, and CI/CD workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues and contribute to performance improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–3 years of software engineering or application development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• REST APIs and JSON.
• Azure or AWS cloud services.
• GitHub or similar version control.
• Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
