Software Engineer – E‑Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a global leader in technology and internet services, focusing on e‑commerce platforms. The position is fully remote and ideal for new‑grad talent eager to build scalable backend systems that power real‑time user experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best‑practice and testing standards.
• Profile, debug, and improve system performance through algorithmic optimisations.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• New‑grad or junior‑level candidate with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience or coursework involving distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
