Software Engineer, Associate – Java

About the role

The Associate Software Engineer will contribute to product development deliveries and support activities, focusing on Java‑based solutions. You will work within a collaborative team in Bonifacio Global City, delivering code, testing, and deployments while adhering to Infor’s development standards.

Key responsibilities

• Fix reported bugs while complying with SDLC processes and coding standards.
• Develop new features based on requirements, design specifications, and tickets.
• Maintain and enhance existing product modules.
• Conduct technical and root‑cause analysis as part of standard SDLC activities.
• Participate in code reviews and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience with Java programming.
• Understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming concepts.
• Experience developing mobile or web applications.
• Proficiency with Integrated Development Environments such as Eclipse or Visual Studio.
• Ability to develop and interpret technical plans and designs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability and a self‑reliant attitude.
• Willingness to work onsite three days per week in BGC.
