Social and Community Assistant

About the role

The Social and Community Assistant will support Eucalyptus' editorial and ambassador programme by handling talent communications, content administration, and community moderation. This execution‑focused position requires high attention to detail and ownership of communication and workflow tasks across multiple social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily activity in the private Facebook group and approve or decline posts according to group rules.
• Provide encouragement to members, clear spam, and handle moderation alerts.
• Escalate relevant issues to patient support, medical support, health coaches, or engineering teams.
• Approve member requests and maintain moderation logs.
• Respond to comments on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram; manage DMs on these platforms.
• Track community metrics such as join rate and engagement.
• Act as the first point of escalation for patients contacting social media channels.

Required profile

• Strong written communicator who can respond clearly, warmly, and professionally.
• Highly organised and dependable, able to manage repetitive, admin‑heavy work.
• Native comfort with Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, understanding channel‑specific tone.
• Good judgment in sensitive situations with the ability to route concerns quickly.
• Fast, detail‑oriented, and consistent when handling high‑volume moderation tasks.
• Experience in healthcare, wellness, or other customer‑sensitive environments is a plus.
