Site Generator Operator – 3MW Project

About the role

Join Aggreko as a Site Generator Operator on a 3 MW project in Dinagat Island, Philippines. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of diesel generators, transformers and associated fuel systems, ensuring continuous power delivery for diverse customers.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers and related equipment to maintain uninterrupted power.
• Perform routine inspections, A‑service and B‑service maintenance, including oil changes and component replacements.
• Respond promptly to alarms and faults, carrying out basic repairs or escalating complex issues.
• Monitor fuel levels and quality, forecast fuel needs and coordinate deliveries.
• Maintain accurate logs of run hours, performance metrics and fuel reconciliation reports.
• Enforce safety protocols, environmental regulations and spill‑prevention measures.
• Track spare‑part, fuel and consumable inventories and generate regular operational reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical vocational certificate in electrical or mechanical fields.
• 1–2 years of experience operating generator systems, preferably in a similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of generator control panels.
• Understanding of fuel systems and fuel quality management.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with diesel generators and transformers.
