ServiceNow Consultant

About the role

The ServiceNow Consultant will lead functional testing of ServiceNow applications across ITSM, ITAM, HRSD, CMDB and ITOM modules. You will work closely with development and support teams to ensure high‑quality releases and effective defect management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test scripts for end‑to‑end functional testing.
• Collaborate with support and dependency groups during test creation, execution and defect tracking.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles related to testing processes.
• Participate in defect triage calls and provide detailed analysis.
• Identify and maintain regression test suites and estimate testing effort.
• Review change requests for impact on existing test packs.
• Assist Test Leads in planning, progress reporting and test closure activities.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of hands‑on experience testing ServiceNow applications.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITAM, HRSD, CMDB, ITOM) and related processes.
• Experience with test automation tools (excluding ATF) and manual testing techniques.
• Good understanding of SDLC, test lifecycle and defect management.
• Ability to develop test data, translate requirements into testable artefacts and work with minimal supervision.
