Service Technician I - F&B

About the role

Ecolab Food & Beverage is seeking an entry‑level Service Technician I to support food, beverage and dairy manufacturers. The role combines technical service, consulting and sales activities to improve food safety, product quality, sustainability and operational efficiency for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct service strategy surveys, process verifications and reporting for assigned customers.
• Consult clients on chemical, technical and application issues, and recommend system optimisations.
• Perform field testing, generate reports and deliver on‑site training.
• Install, repair and maintain equipment at customer plants, ensuring compliance with maintenance targets.
• Document hygiene plans, conduct regular customer visits and support new service program roll‑outs.
• Track and enter monthly safety metrics into the company system.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and recommend safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a technical service role.
• Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to lift, push, pull or transport up to the specified weight.
• Comfort working in confined spaces, freezing or hot environments.
• Willingness to pass a drug test and physical examination.
