About the role
The Service Associate provides competent, timely, and error‑free over‑the‑counter services to customers in a bank branch. The role ensures compliance with internal policies, BSP and AMLA regulations, and supports the branch’s business objectives through excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Perform tellering, new account opening, and other over‑the‑counter functions in line with the Branch Operations Manual.
- Process back‑room tasks while maintaining accuracy and speed.
- Assist the Service Manager in meeting service standards, ensuring fast turnaround and error‑free processing.
- Handle customer queries and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Identify risk areas and apply bank policies to mitigate them.
Required profile
- Graduate of a 4‑year degree program; a business‑related degree is an advantage.
- Ideally one year of experience in branch operations, though fresh graduates are welcome.
- Willingness to work overtime and be rotated or cross‑posted to other branches as required.
- Sense of urgency and strong service orientation.
