SEO Expert (Remote)

About the role

Elevate and Delegate is hiring a full-time remote SEO Expert who works directly with clients. The schedule is 9 AM to 5 PM Central Time, Monday to Friday, with up to $3,000 pay and two weeks of paid time off plus paid U.S. holidays. Payments are handled by the client, and the applicant's schedule must align with the client's business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Run full SEO audits for client websites, find problems, build solutions and track results
• Do keyword research and build content strategies based on search intent, competition and SERP behavior
• Implement on-page SEO: title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking and content optimization
• Handle technical SEO: site speed, schema markup, structured data, XML sitemaps, 301 redirects, crawl errors and indexing issues
• Build and manage local SEO strategies: Google Business Profile, citations, NAP consistency and location pages
• Execute link building campaigns: outreach, link auditing and high-quality backlinks
• Write or optimize SEO content such as blog posts, landing pages and service pages
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to speed up workflows, from content ideation to keyword clustering and technical audits
• Monitor rankings, traffic and conversions with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush or Ahrefs
• Deliver performance reports to account managers and take part in client communication when needed
• Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates, AI search trends and emerging SEO tools, including AI/LLM visibility

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven results (traffic growth, ranking improvements, lead generation)
• Local SEO is critical for the clients
• Analytical thinking: decisions based on data, able to read reports and spot opportunities
• Good English communication, able to explain strategy and present results

Required skills

• Technical SEO: site speed, schema, crawl audits, indexing, URL structure, Screaming Frog
• On-page SEO: keyword optimization, content structure, meta tags, internal linking
• Link building: outreach, link auditing, quality backlinks
• SEO tools used daily: Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console
• AI-powered SEO with tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini
• HTML/CSS basics to make on-page changes and work with developers
• Nice to have: agency experience, Home Services or Healthcare SEO, JavaScript/PHP/WordPress knowledge, heatmap tools (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity), CRO, and AI/LLM search optimization
