Senior QA Engineer

About the role

The Senior QA Engineer will ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise‑level post‑trade affirmation and confirmation applications. The role combines manual testing with a strategic drive toward automation, supporting real‑time message processing in a global financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain resilient test frameworks to validate code before production deployment.
• Provide L3 support for deployments and investigate production issues when needed.
• Participate in SAFe agile ceremonies and follow agile development processes.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best testing practices.
• Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to adhere to guidelines and implementations.
• Work across multiple remote regions and follow standard SDLC and design‑pattern guidelines.

Required profile

• Multiple years of professional experience in global financial services, especially in messaging, trade confirmations, clearing and STP.
• Strong background in server‑side Java development within banking or trading environments.
• Detail‑oriented with a deep understanding of the impact of messaging errors.
• Proven problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as SAFe or Scrum.
