Senior Project Manager – Lead Multi‑Million Dollar Projects

About the role

Seven Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own a flagship, approximately A$10 million, transformation project from charter through benefits realisation. You will drive the project using the most suitable delivery approach while ensuring alignment with sponsors, SMEs and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a multi‑million‑dollar project, meeting scope, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Build and maintain a single, transparent team by aligning sponsors, subject‑matter experts and external vendors around clear KPIs.
• Implement rigorous controls, real‑time dashboards and plain‑English reporting to keep status crystal‑clear.
• Coach junior project managers, share best‑practice playbooks and champion continuous improvement.
• Adapt delivery methodology—waterfall, agile or hybrid—based on project demands.
• Maintain composure under pressure, providing steady leadership when challenges arise.

• Proven track record managing projects of A$10 million+ for top‑tier clients.
• Strong stakeholder management that turns sceptics into allies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams that willingly follow your direction.
• References that attest to integrity, direct communication and calm under pressure.
