Senior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

The Senior Project Manager leads the planning, design, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they meet safety, schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory standards. Reporting to executive leadership, this role provides strategic direction and oversees multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Direct all project phases from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Review and approve project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and cost‑control initiatives.
• Lead procurement, negotiate contracts, and manage contract administration.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with HSE and legal requirements.
• Serve as primary liaison between senior management, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop project management and construction personnel.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership and governance skills.
• Excellent communication with executives, regulators, and contractors.
• Ability to make data‑driven decisions and drive corrective actions.
