Senior Payroll Automation Analyst

About the role

DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting a Senior Payroll Automation Analyst in Bogota, Colombia (requisition R-086425). The role leads the strategy, design and delivery of automation solutions that support payroll operations, compliance and reporting, partnering Payroll, HR, Finance and IT. It works with global teams across NA, EMEA, LATAM and APAC time zones, and may involve some travel.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across payroll processes (gross-to-net, validations, reconciliations, reporting, tax support) and drive standardisation of workflows
• Gather requirements with Payroll, HR, Tax and Finance stakeholders and document current versus future-state processes
• Build automation using Alteryx, UiPath and Azure, with error handling, logging and audit traceability
• Deploy solutions through testing (parallel runs, UAT) and provide production support around payroll cycles
• Develop Power BI dashboards for reconciliation, headcount, cost and tax reporting and KPIs
• Enforce automation governance, SOX compliance and segregation of duties
• Mentor automation developers and act as liaison with vendors such as ADP, EY and Fidelity

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in payroll operations, payroll technology or automation roles
• Experience with payroll systems such as SAP, Workday or ADP and with global payroll operations
• Knowledge of SOX controls and audit frameworks

Required skills

• Alteryx, UiPath, Azure and Power BI
• Integration of payroll data with finance systems (GL, reporting platforms)
• Familiarity with SFTP, PGP encryption and data governance standards
