Senior Manual Tester – UAT & Exploratory Testing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manual Tester to join our dedicated Quality Assurance team. The role focuses on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and advanced exploratory testing for web and mobile applications, ensuring they are production‑ready before release.

Key responsibilities

• Perform deep, scenario‑based exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms, uncovering critical defects beyond scripted cases.
• Validate end‑to‑end workflows, user journeys, and business logic to confirm applications meet acceptance criteria.
• Provide rapid, clear feedback to engineering and product teams, highlighting severity, user impact, and prioritisation of high‑impact issues.
• Document defects with detailed logs, console errors, screen recordings and reproducible steps.
• Test application stability and compatibility on multiple physical mobile devices, operating systems and browsers.
• Apply a risk‑based testing approach, focusing on high‑risk areas that could affect users or business outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of intensive manual testing experience, with a proven track record of finding complex, high‑impact defects.
• Strong experience in UAT environments, validating end‑to‑end workflows and business logic.
• Solid understanding of common failure points in web and mobile applications, including API latency, session management and cross‑browser issues.
• Highly self‑managed, able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Browser Developer Tools
• Experience using Charles Proxy or Fiddler
• Mobile debugging tools (e.g., Android Studio, Xcode Instruments)
