Senior Intelligent Automation Developer (Finance)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Global Services (GS) Financial Services Innovation is recruiting a Senior Automation Specialist (DPS IA Sr Developer) in Manila, Philippines, to support GS Finance for the Orthopaedics business. The role designs robust IA solutions, sets development standards, builds sustainable automations and mentors both citizen and IA team developers.

The announcement also states that Johnson & Johnson plans to separate its Orthopaedics business into a standalone company, DePuy Synthes, within 18 to 24 months. Accepting the position means becoming an employee of DePuy Synthes after the transaction closes, under its employment processes and benefit plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, deployment and quality assurance of automations according to the GS Finance IA delivery methodology, and test them with process SMEs and business partners
• Ensure successful production deployment without affecting existing automations and operations, and provide L2/L3 support
• Translate business process concepts into technical design, recommend the best-fit technology and incorporate enterprise standards to improve IA development standards
• Create an inventory of reusable automation assets and review peer and citizen developer designs and code
• Share methodologies and automation experience with IA team and citizen developers
• Evaluate, procure and select automation tools, and assess technology availability against requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance & Accounting, Information Technology, Data Science, AI Engineering or Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in a shared service organization, preferably in Finance, as an intelligent automation developer or CI project lead
• Experience reviewing solution designs and code reviews, and as a solution architect and lead developer
• Experience as a senior developer delivering complex automations (Alteryx, UiPath, Tableau, Power BI, Python, VBA, SQL)
• Preferred: knowledge of finance and accounting processes and tools, and experience on multi-developer agile teams

• Python, VBA, Alteryx flows, SQL, RPA with UiPath, MS Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Copilot and other agentic Gen AI platforms
• SAP, JDE, Salesforce and other ERP and non-ERP platforms
• Preferred: Power Platform, Tableau, QlikView, SQL SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Kafka, Cloudera, Informatica, LangChain/LangGraph/LangSmith, and certifications such as Certified RPA Developer/Architect in UiPath
