Senior Finance & Accounting Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance & Accounting Manager will lead the finance function of a fast‑growing company, reporting directly to the founders. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial insights, building scalable processes, and supporting strategic decisions throughout two key growth phases.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all finance and accounting activities, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, board reports and performance analyses.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and cash‑flow planning.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close, general ledger, reconciliations and record‑keeping.
• Develop and enforce financial controls, accounting policies and governance frameworks.
• Scale finance operations as transaction volumes increase, handling multi‑currency cash flow, working capital and settlement processes.
• Implement and optimise finance systems, automation tools and reporting dashboards.
• Partner with product, operations and commercial teams to improve financial performance.
• Recruit, mentor and grow a finance team as the organisation expands.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading finance and accounting functions in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong understanding of multi‑currency transactions, working‑capital management and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial insights for senior leadership.
