Senior DevOps Engineer – Google Cloud Platform

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, focusing on automation, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Set up and manage Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Error Reporting for observability.
• Automate operational tasks with Python and ensure compliance with security best practices.
• Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis for production issues.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to best‑practice documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk).
