Senior Cost Manager – Advanced Manufacturing Project

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead cost management, commercial control and financial governance for a large‑scale advanced manufacturing construction project. The role ensures the project is delivered on time, within budget and in full compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, budget preparation, cost monitoring and expense tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee quantity take‑offs, Bills of Quantities and cost estimates; support tender documentation and pricing schedules.
• Manage contract administration, commercial negotiations, variations, change orders and contractor payment certification.
• Identify and mitigate cost risks; support budgeting, scheduling and resource planning.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal teams; produce regular cost updates and project status reports.
• Drive value‑engineering initiatives and ensure compliance with audits and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in cost management and quantity surveying within large construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage contracts, variations and financial governance.
