MEPF Engineer – Davao Project

About the role

The MEPFS Engineer will lead the design, coordination and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for a large‑scale construction project in Davao. The role ensures compliance with local building codes, industry standards and Bureau Veritas quality and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive MEPF system designs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire protection, and prepare detailed drawings and specifications.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of MEPF systems, conducting site inspections and coordinating with contractors and subcontractors.
• Implement quality control procedures, conduct inspections and resolve any quality issues promptly.
• Prioritise safety on site, enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building and fire codes.
• Monitor project costs, prepare cost estimates, manage change orders and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 2 years of MEPF engineering experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of local building and fire codes and proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
