Senior Associate - Transaction Analytics

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Associate in Transaction Analytics for its Strategy and Transactions practice, based at Robinsons Cyber Sigma in Taguig. The role supports the practice by delivering data-driven insights across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate finance engagements, working with large and complex datasets to identify value drivers, risks and trends that inform client decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data-driven analysis to support M&A, divestiture, carve-out and restructuring engagements
• Analyze large financial and operational datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks and value opportunities
• Support financial due diligence through transaction analytics, including revenue, cost, working capital and margin analysis
• Build and maintain data models, dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, SQL or Excel
• Translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for clients and senior stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including financial due diligence, valuation, tax and technology
• Assist in project management, track deliverables and timelines, and review and coach junior team members
• Maintain client relationships and comply with EY quality, risk management and confidentiality standards

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in transaction analytics, financial analysis, audit, consulting or related fields
• Solid understanding of financial statements and transaction concepts
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Preferred: prior experience in M&A, due diligence or transaction services; exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA or progress toward one

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and at least one analytics or BI tool (Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL)
• Strong analytical skills with large, complex datasets
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
