Senior Associate - Portfolio Finance Advisor

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services is looking for a Senior Associate Portfolio Internal Business Advisor in Taguig. The role advises and supports internal client-serving partners so they can make the best use of SAP and its processes to manage their portfolios of EY external client projects. It involves proactive, strategic financial advisory support to engagement partners, using analytics to identify those needing intervention.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure engagement teams are properly prepared for client negotiations from a financial perspective.
• Explain the downstream impacts of different user choices required in SAP.
• Give instruction and guidance on preparing external client project completion estimates and their financial impacts.
• Advise client servers on the best financial outcome, adapting style to the situation.
• Use analytical skills to identify individuals and teams needing proactive outreach to improve financial performance.
• Build relationships with regional service-line finance teams and prepare for discussions with them.
• Periodically review and update system rates and regional targets.
• Identify troubled projects and work with the relevant teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Fluent, effective English speaker (C2 level).
• At least 4 years of experience in a corporate organisation, preferably in finance, business or customer service.
• Experience in financial economics and knowledge of financial metrics and dependencies, including calculating variances quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision, prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong listening, communication and customer service skills.
