Senior Associate, Business Operations, PTS

About the role

LSEG's PTS Optimisation is a progressive, rapidly expanding business whose services connect participants and use sophisticated algorithms to rebalance and reduce risk, improving market efficiency, client returns and financial safety. As a Senior Associate in Business Operations, you will coordinate optimisation runs, support client onboarding and data analysis, and act as a clear communicator with the global team. The role is hybrid, with a blend of home and office work.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate optimisation runs and set up all vital configurations before each run
• Validate optimisation input data in a timely manner and run optimisations, resolving any issues
• Carry out post-run checks of results, complete post-execution processes including trade booking and regulatory reporting within prescribed timelines, and provide post-run analysis to the team
• Support client onboarding with internal setup of new clients, run scenarios, analyse data and take part in QA testing of product and process improvements against weekly release schedules
• Report run-related issues to the global team, share ideas for process improvements and present data analysis findings clearly

Required profile

• Degree in a numerate or technical field (e.g. Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in an investment bank is highly desirable, ideally in OTC derivatives, middle office, trade support, risk or a similar role, with practical knowledge of financial products and derivatives such as swaps and FX forwards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow structured processes, handle recurring tasks and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written English for documentation and internal coordination

Required skills

• Proficiency in data handling tools such as Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
• Exposure to Python or SQL is an advantage
• QA testing and Jira experience is advantageous
