Senior Android Developer – Managed Services

About the role

As a Senior Android Developer within PwC’s Acceleration Center in Manila, you will design, build and maintain high‑quality mobile applications for Android and iOS that support a range of managed‑service offerings. Working closely with designers, backend engineers and delivery teams, you will help clients streamline operations and improve efficiency through innovative mobile solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy native Android applications and contribute to iOS app development.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend teams to create seamless, performance‑optimized user experiences.
• Maintain and enhance existing mobile apps, ensuring reliability, security and scalability.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives for managed‑service processes and tools.
• Support cross‑functional Acceleration Center services (Advisory, Assurance, Tax, Business Services) with mobile solutions.

Required skills

• Android mobile application development (Java/Kotlin, Android SDK).
• iOS mobile application development (Swift/Objective‑C, iOS SDK) or experience contributing to iOS apps.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
