Senior Analyst - GCT Revenue Control and Analysis

About the role

Deutsche Bank's Treasury and Business Finance (TBF) controls the Treasury and Investment Banking finance functions and ensures the integrity, completeness and accuracy of the Bank's financial books and records. The Revenue Control and Analysis function within this team produces daily Risk and Profit and Loss reporting for core businesses and ensures correct trade valuations are fed into downstream Financial and Risk Reporting systems. The Senior Analyst position is based in Manila.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data completeness and integrity checks and review breaks, and clear exceptions through adjustments and/or provision narratives
• Produce daily Profit and Loss and Risk reports and analyse movements by reviewing risk profiles and market data changes
• Assist in resolving Trader queries in a timely manner and obtain Trader sign-off on final Profit and Loss
• Liaise with the Operations team to ensure breaks are cleared promptly

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business or Management Engineering; further professional qualification or study (e.g. CPA, CFA, CMA) or a Master's degree is an advantage
• Knowledge of a range of financial products and markets; knowledge of US-GAAP/IAS is beneficial
• Strong investigation, problem resolution and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse set of stakeholders
• Change mindset, as Deutsche Bank is running a multi-year programme to transform its strategic architecture and processes

Required skills

• Experience with automation and programming languages such as Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Basic, Python, Tableau and Alteryx is an advantage
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and optimise workflows, with responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
