Head of New Product Operations

About the role

First Circle, a fast-growing, credit-centric neo-bank in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Head of New Product Operations to lead operations for its newest products, such as employee salary loans and credit cards. The person will take each product from v1 to something customers love, own its P&L and growth strategy, and build a team of operators as more products come under their ownership. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and is based in the Philippines, with relocation and sponsorship available.

Key responsibilities

• Own the operations of new products, including employee salary loans and credit cards, and define and execute their growth strategy while taking accountability for P&L.
• Work closely with tech, product, sales, marketing, finance and legal teams to grow the products.
• Focus on user experience, working with the tech team to build and improve the products.
• Define the processes and systems that run the products, automating as much as possible.
• Establish distribution strategy in partnership with the existing sales force.
• Build and shape a team of operators, taking on more responsibility and a broader portfolio as more solutions launch.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Management, STEM or a similar field.
• Ideally 5-10 years of experience, though trajectory and potential are valued more than years worked.
• Experience operating inside a business, ideally a fast-paced tech company; prior experience in consulting or finance is ideal.
• Ownership mindset, able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast pace, and able to build and develop a team.

Required skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ideally hands-on experience with data and analytics tools such as SQL and Python.
• Able to design efficient systems and processes with a bias for automation.
