Sea Logistics Sales Representative

About the role

As a Sea Logistics Sales Representative you will join Kuehne+Nagel’s Freight Forwarding team, focusing on winning new SME customers and developing business for Full Container Loads (FCL) and Less than Container Loads (LCL). You will work closely with the Sea Logistics Team at your Customer Care Location to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers through cold calls, social media, and other channels.
• Conduct online and face‑to‑face meetings to build relationships and trust.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects in the company’s CRM system.
• Act as a consultant, proposing end‑to‑end sea freight solutions and using the myKN online platform.
• Prepare quotations in collaboration with internal stakeholders and pricing tools.
• Support the implementation of new business with the Sea Logistics Team.
• Research market potential and share customer feedback internally.
• Track booked, shipped, and invoiced volumes using sales visibility software.
• Share best practices with fellow Sea Logistics Sales Representatives.

Required profile

• Fluent in the local language and English.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
• Strong determination to acquire and grow new customers.
• Hands‑on mentality with the ability to build trust with decision makers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
