SAP PY APJ Consultant

About the role

Strada is seeking an experienced SAP HCM/Payroll Consultant to join its global team. You will work on end‑to‑end SAP payroll implementations, helping clients across industries optimize their payroll processes using cloud‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, prioritize and document customer requirements for SAP HCM and Payroll solutions.
• Review solution architecture to ensure alignment with client needs and SAP best practices.
• Design and configure SAP HCM modules, including Payroll (PY), Time Management (TM), Organizational Management (OM) and Personnel Administration (PA).
• Participate in the full implementation lifecycle: design, configuration, development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Configure payroll schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), wage types and infotypes according to business requirements.
• Perform integrated testing of complex payroll applications and ensure system stability.
• Troubleshoot payroll processing issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Maintain payroll documentation, system configurations and application flow diagrams.
• Identify opportunities for system performance improvement and continuous optimization.

Required profile

• Proven experience with SAP HCM Payroll (PY) implementations.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to work across development, testing and production environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for complex payroll issues.
