Sales Officer

About the role

Golden Sands Destination Resort is seeking a dynamic Sales Officer to lead room, event and group sales. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships, driving revenue, and delivering memorable guest experiences across our coastal resort.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, group and leisure segments.
• Prepare customized proposals, conduct site inspections and negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with marketing, reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, produce accurate sales reports and support revenue-optimization strategies.
• Manage multiple client accounts and travel for meetings, sales calls and industry events as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field.
• Experience in sales, preferably within hospitality, tourism, events or travel; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and able to handle several accounts simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM or sales-tracking tools.
