RO Operator – Water Treatment

About the role

We are looking for a reliable RO Operator to manage and maintain our reverse‑osmosis water treatment plants. The role involves operating equipment, monitoring water quality, and ensuring continuous production in a shift‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Report for duty according to approved shift schedules and meet production volume targets.
• Start‑up, operate, maintain and shut‑down RO equipment following standard operating procedures.
• Collect water samples and perform quality analysis (pH, TDS, residual chlorine, etc.) on schedule.
• Calibrate pH and TDS meters, record results in the logbook, and read gauges and meters regularly.
• Monitor tank levels, pump and motor condition, dosing systems, electrical controls, and related equipment.
• Prepare chemical mixes, dose reagents, and conduct back‑washing of filters as required.
• Maintain bag filters – charging, washing, and recycling as needed.
• Track consumption of chemicals, reagents and consumables, and request stock replenishment.
• Perform minor leak repairs, surface preparation and repainting when necessary.
• Execute preventive‑maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule.

Required profile

• College‑level or graduate education in Mechanical or Electrical engineering (preferred).
• Willingness to work beyond regular hours, including holidays.
• Fluent in English, Tagalog and Bisaya (reading, writing and speaking).
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Own a motorcycle or vehicle for commuting.

Required skills

• Operation and calibration of pH meters.
• Operation and calibration of TDS meters.
• Water‑quality testing and analysis.
• Preventive‑maintenance procedures for RO equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
