Remote Part-Time Paralegal – Family Law

About the role

We are looking for a remote, part‑time Paralegal to support a modern law firm that specializes in estate planning and family law. The position is freelance, 20‑25 hours per week, and ideal for organized, detail‑oriented individuals who can work independently.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and other documents.
• Prepare estate planning and family law filings and manage e‑filing submissions.
• Organize discovery materials, maintain digital case files, and track deadlines.
• Communicate with clients regarding documents, case updates, and scheduling.
• Conduct legal research, summarize findings, and assist with client intake.
• Use case‑management software (e.g., MyCase, Clio) to monitor active cases.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar support role.
• Strong legal writing and document drafting abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Law students, recent graduates, or candidates with relevant experience are preferred.
