Head of Legal – Philippines

About the role

DHL Group is seeking a senior legal leader to head its legal function in the Philippines. You will work within a global network of legal professionals, supporting DHL’s logistics and supply‑chain business while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Overall management of the country’s legal function, including a team of professionals and support staff.
• Establish and maintain legal processes and procedures to identify and mitigate business risks.
• Support business strategy through active participation in management meetings, contract drafting and negotiations.
• Ensure all DHL business units comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Provide comprehensive “one‑stop‑shop” legal services to multiple business units.
• Implement global and regional legal strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Deliver training and knowledge tools to educate the legal team and business partners.

Required profile

• Senior‑level legal representative accountable to senior management for all business units in the country.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, decision‑making and legal risk management.
• Ability to evaluate policies, practices and transactions for legal compliance.
• Strong advisory skills on emerging legal trends and developments.
• Leadership experience managing a multidisciplinary legal team.
