Remote Customer Service Representative – Hospitality & Guest Support

About the role

Join TruPorch Homes as a Remote Customer Service Representative, acting as the virtual front desk for premium short‑term rental properties. You will be the friendly voice and digital concierge that guides guests from inquiry through checkout, delivering boutique‑hotel service from the comfort of your home.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound guest calls via VoIP and respond to messages on Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com with professional etiquette.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as smart‑lock malfunctions, Wi‑Fi outages, and climate control problems, or coordinate with the on‑site team.
• Serve as the communication hub between guests and cleaning or maintenance staff to ensure property readiness.
• Assist with reservation changes and follow up to secure 5‑star guest reviews.

Required profile

• Customer‑service experience or a recent graduate with a degree in Communication, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or any field with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and de‑escalate upset guests with empathy.
• Neutral English accent for phone calls and near‑native written English for messaging.
• Self‑disciplined and reliable work ethic for unsupervised remote work.
