About the role
The Relationship Manager – Business Banking will generate new commercial loans, grow the existing loan portfolio, and cross‑sell the bank’s products and services. The role focuses on delivering professional account management while preserving asset quality and meeting profitability targets.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct credit evaluations, including client calls and on‑site inspections.
- Recommend credit facilities based on business analysis, financial capacity, management competence, collateral, and profitability.
- Identify and target credit‑worthy accounts, market bank products, and tailor financial packages to client needs.
- Perform annual reviews of existing credit facilities to ensure suitability.
- Expand relationships with prime accounts by increasing deposits, collateral, and loan availments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, or Commerce (MBA or MA preferred).
- Two years of banking experience or five years in another industry.
- Knowledge of international and local trade payments, bank policies, and credit approval processes.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, marketing, and presentation skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in basic MS Office applications.
