Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, robust accounting controls, and effective cash‑flow management. You will partner with senior management to improve financial visibility and support strategic decision‑making as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports with analytical insights.
• Monitor project profitability, margins, revenue, and operational costs across service lines.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, reconciliations, accruals, journal entries and internal controls.
• Manage AP/AR processes, improve collections, and monitor cash‑flow exposure.
• Coordinate payroll, VAT, corporate tax and liaison with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Lead and mentor a finance team of three bookkeepers and an Accounts Receivable Officer.
• Support ERP optimisation, reporting enhancements and KPI/dashboard development.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing accounting activities, management reporting and project profitability analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP financial controls, VAT and corporate tax coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with operations, procurement and senior management.
• Experience managing and developing finance staff.
