About the role
The Relationship Manager – Business Banking is responsible for generating new commercial loans, expanding the existing loan portfolio, and cross‑selling the bank’s suite of products and services. The role focuses on professional account management to achieve portfolio growth, profitability, and asset‑quality objectives while building lasting client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and originate new commercial loan opportunities and develop existing loan accounts.
- Conduct credit evaluations, including client calls and on‑site inspections, and recommend credit facilities aligned with bank policies.
- Market and deliver bank products and services within regulatory and policy boundaries.
- Perform annual reviews of client credit facilities to ensure suitability and deepen relationships with prime accounts.
- Increase market share, revenue, and portfolio quality through targeted marketing and tailored financial packages.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, or Commerce (post‑graduate preferred).
- Two years of banking experience or five years in a related industry.
- Working knowledge of international and local trade payments, bank service policies, account profitability analysis, financial analysis, and credit approval preparation.
- Strong marketing, presentation, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
