Regulatory Reporting Manager

About the role

LCH Operations in Manila is seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Manager to lead its Regulatory Reporting team and ensure regulatory reporting obligations are delivered accurately and on time. The role oversees daily reporting, matching and pairing exceptions, reporting controls, stakeholder engagement, change initiatives and continuous improvement, and acts as a key contact for regulators, counterparties, internal control functions, technology teams and senior management. It covers the LCH regulatory reporting for RepoClear, DigitalAssetClear, CDSClear and Treasury services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end regulatory reporting across EMIR, SFTR and other global regimes, ensuring submissions are complete, accurate and on time
• Monitor reporting quality, completeness and timeliness, and track metrics and performance indicators
• Investigate and resolve matching, pairing and reconciliation breaks, document root causes and drive sustainable fixes
• Lead, coach and manage a team of regulatory reporting professionals, including performance reviews, career development and mentoring
• Act as main contact for Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Product, Change and Regulators, and present reporting performance and risks to senior management
• Maintain a control framework, support internal audits, regulatory reviews and external examinations, and identify and mitigate operational risks
• Lead regulatory reporting enhancements, reforms and technology initiatives, including UAT, defect management and automation opportunities
• Produce management information, dashboards and reports, and prepare materials for regulator and leadership meetings

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics or a related field
• Significant experience in regulatory reporting, post-trade operations, clearing operations or regulatory compliance in financial services
• Proven experience investigating regulatory reporting issues, including matching, pairing and exception resolution
• Demonstrated people leadership and team management experience
• Experience working with technology teams on regulatory change initiatives

Required skills

• Knowledge of EMIR, SFTR and trade repository requirements
• Exception management, reconciliation and break resolution
• Familiarity with trade repository platforms such as DTCC, UnaVista (LSEG Post Trade Regulatory Reporting) or similar
• Advantageous: data analytics and reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI and Tableau
