Regional Financial Controller

About the role

The Regional Financial Controller will plan, direct and control finance operations across the region for APLL. This senior position is responsible for fiscal management, financial record‑keeping, reporting and analysis, while driving process and technology improvements to safeguard financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of global and regional financial policies, guidelines and protocols to ensure robust finance and accounting standards.
• Coordinate budgeting processes across countries, providing guidance to leadership teams on all budgetary matters.
• Oversee regional financial accounting operations, monitor key metrics, and manage periodic financial closing and reporting.
• Hold country and regional finance teams accountable for data quality, collections targets and audit findings.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses of recurring finance issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and controls.
• Review finance systems, gather feedback, and support the development of a technology roadmap for system integration and upgrades.
• Authorize payments within approved limits and resolve exceptional finance matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading regional finance operations and implementing financial policies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial health metrics and address gaps.
• Experience managing budgeting, financial closing, reporting and audit processes across multiple countries.
• Ability to drive process improvement and technology initiatives in a finance function.
