Receptionist – Front Desk Support

About the role

Lumus Imaging is seeking a friendly and organised casual receptionist to join its Horsham clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience at the front desk.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
• Manage radiology exam bookings and appointment schedules.
• Perform general clerical duties, including filing and mail handling.
• Enter and maintain patient records with high accuracy.
• Communicate courteously with other receptionists, referring doctors, and medical professionals.
• Process billing and banking tasks related to Medicare, DVA, health funds, and work cover.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑facing or reception role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail for data entry and record keeping.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Basic understanding of medical billing processes (Medicare, DVA, health funds, work cover).
