Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Estimation

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Pasig City. You will be responsible for delivering accurate cost estimates, managing contracts, and monitoring project finances to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Study project drawings and specifications to calculate material, labor, and other construction costs.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, budget proposals, and feasibility studies for clients.
• Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to define project scope and pricing.
• Evaluate contractor tenders, negotiate terms, and manage contractual variations and claims.
• Track project costs against budgets, identify overruns, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive cost reports for clients, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align project goals and control costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in cost estimation and BOQ preparation.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex construction drawings.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing contracts.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, legal frameworks, and project management principles.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
