QA/QC Manager – Construction

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities across multiple construction projects in Cebu. You will be responsible for establishing robust quality systems, resolving non‑conformances, and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain consistent QA/QC procedures across all active construction sites.
• Resolve major non‑conformances that affect project progress, quality, or compliance.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Site Engineers to prevent rework and delays.
• Lead quality audits, close audit findings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, enforce, and update the Company Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Inspection & Test Procedures (ITP).
• Analyze Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and create preventive and corrective action plans.
• Plan and allocate QA/QC manpower and inspection schedules across projects.
• Serve as the primary QA/QC representative in client and consultant meetings.
• Allocate resources strategically and ensure timely availability of approved materials and testing services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (licensed civil engineer is a plus).
• 8‑10 years of QA/QC experience in construction, including 3‑5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Proven ability to manage QA/QC teams across multiple projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to be based in Cebu.
