Purchasing Manager

About the role

Velez Ventures, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement activities for its manufacturing and distribution operations in Cebu. The role focuses on sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost‑effective and reliable supply of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new vendors, negotiate prices and contract terms.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers.
• Analyze pricing, usage and inventory data to drive cost optimisation.
• Prepare and review purchase contracts and ensure compliance.
• Utilise ERP and purchasing systems to process orders and maintain accurate records.
• Document procurement activities with high attention to detail.

Required profile

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently on‑site in Cebu and collaborate across departments and cultures.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and proactive attitude.
